Don't listen to Obama's words but heed his deeds

There is a lot being said by the actions of the Obama administration that’s different from what’s being said by them concerning the issue of prenatal murder and the abortion industry. For example, through executive orders President Obama has overturned the ban on the Mexico City policy, an action that has now made it possible for our tax dollars to be used to support international funding of prenatal murder. In addition, the President has acted to lift the ban on embryonic stem cell research.

This research makes possible the murder of embryonic babies in Petri dishes. Also seen in President Obama’s economic stimulus plan are provisions to provide millions of taxpayer’s dollars to fund the continuation of the abortion industry; an industry that targets black women and babies for prenatal murder under the deception language of reproductive health. All of these actions were done in rapid sequence to fulfill the President campaign pledge to Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry. All before the first 100 days of his administration. And now there is talk about reducing abortions.

However, what we heard during the campaign from candidate Obama in a televised debate with John McCann was “no one is for abortion.” That’s what he said! We were all left with the impression that he was personally against abortion. Nevertheless, when one looks closely at what President Obama has done since he took office, one sees a contradiction in what he said as a candidate against what he is doing as President.

Why is this relevant to us and most especially relevant to black community? Well, US News and World Report in a recent blog outlined the Presidents goals for reducing the need for abortions. This is a curiosity in light of this administrations action that promoted the continuation of prenatal murder through supporting the abortion industry both here and abroad. Now the Obama administration is announcing a plan to reduce the rate of abortions. I see your actions better than I hear you verbiage.

Recently a meeting was held with members of the pro-life community by the Obama administration to engender support for his plan to reduce abortions. Absences from that meeting were black pro-lifers who represent the community where over 14 million babies have been womb lynched since 1973. The black community has over 37% of all abortions in America. The black community is where the largest number of prenatal murder takes place. Why would President Obama the first black President not invite black pro-lifers to be at the table to discuss the number one scourge that is more dangerous than any other pathology that threaten the viability of our communities?

Is this just a simple blunder? I don’t think so; we in the black pro-life community are suspicious of the Presidents new plan to reduce abortion when he deliberately ignores the community where the abortion scourge is most out of control. We are watching what you are doing and not listening to what you say.

Another example of doing one thing and saying another was seen on March 27th in Houston Texas where Secretary Hilary Clinton was awarded the Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger Award. The history of Planned Parenthood and its goals to eliminate black folk is common knowledge among blacks in the pro-life movement. It is well documented that Margaret Sanger sought to exterminate the black race here in America and across the world. However, this administration did not discourage one of its chief spokespersons from receiving that award. Margaret Sanger is offensive to most life loving blacks that know her history.

Now, may I ask you a question? Do you believe that this administration is truly seeking ways to reduce abortions? We hear a lot of conversation going on right now, but we have witnessed this administration supporting the abortion industry through executive orders and the funding of Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers with funds from those of us who don’t support the practice. Actions are louder than words. By the way black pro-lifers are not seeking ways to reduce this evil practice, we want to eliminate it out of our culture, out of America.
