'The Gospel Sustains Me', UK bestseller

A publication by the British Province of Carmelites on St. Thérèse of Lisieux, also known as the Little Flower of Jesus, has made it to the bestseller list of major UK Christian retailer St. Paul Multimedia.

Entitled The Gospel Sustains Me, the focuses on how the French mystic read Holy Scripture and how it affected her life and spirituality. The book is co-edited by the Prior Provincial of the British Province of Carmelites, Fr. Wilfrid McGreal, O.Carm., and Lay Carmelite Johan Bergström-Allen who runs the Province's Projects and Publications Office.

Published in July 2009 by Saint Albert's Press, the publishing house of the British Province of Carmelites, it has proved a valuable resource to those wishing to better understand Thérèse and her 'Little Way of Spiritual Childhood'. In the run-up to the visit of the relics of St Thérèse in England and Wales in September and October 2009, The Gospel Sustains Me has been one of the main publications promoted by St Paul's.
