Nuns and geishas featured on Oprah!

February 10 is the thirteenth anniversary of the founding of the Dominican Sisters of Mary, Mother of the Eucharist, an order of Catholic nuns. The nuns were asked to participate in a show on religious life to speak about a hidden life that many people might never experience. The segment will be shown on Oprah!. Check local television listings for the time of the broadcast. Go here to see a teaser of the show.

Four nuns were flown to Chicago to be interviewed by Oprah Winfrey and will appear along with the segment that features their life in a convent located just outside Ann Arbor, Michigan. The nuns to be seen in Winfrey's interview are Sr. Mary Samuel, Sr. John Dominic, Sr. Mary Judith and Sr. Francis Mary.
