According to a report in the Flint Journal, a 2-year-old baby girl who died on July 3 had five human bite marks and a lacerated liver. The child lived in a home in Flint Township, a suburb of Flint MI.
Tiarra Woodward was found not breathing at her home on a Sunday morning and taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. While the child's death has not yet been ruled a homicide, Flint Township police are investigating it as a murder. Death appears to have been a result of blunt force trauma to the abdomen. Some human bite marks on the child's body appeared to be fresh at the time of death, while others appear to be days old. According to the daily, bites were found all over Tiarra's body, including her torso and leg. They appear to be human adult bite marks. Tiarra's 20 year-old father is now in custody.
Police investigating the crime are reportedly traumatized by the evidence of the tiny girl's torture and death.
