With A Name Like Nato ...

Oh, c'mon. They can't be serious.

NATO recently announced a fun little competition it calls "iReps." They asked folks all around the world to submit one-minute videos explaining what peace and security meant to them.

The winners would receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Chicago in May to attend the NATO summit, where they would attend speeches, meet face-to-face with NATO officials to discuss security issues, and "report live."

NATO just announced the 20 winners, and one of them is named -- wait for it -- Nato.

Nato Bachiashvili of Georgia, to be exact.

How could she not be a winner? OK, she submitted a compelling video, as well:

Turns out, Nato is a common name in Georgia -- the local version of Natalia or Natalie. In fact, one of the most famous Georgian movie stars was Nato Vachnadze.

There were quite a few other creative entries, too, such as this one from winner Petra Skrbkova:

Congratulations to everyone. We look forward to their personal reports from Chicago.
