Former President Bill Clinton apparently snubbed President Barack Obama by keeping the Chief Executive waiting in Air Force One before the Democrat duo departed Israel on their way home to the United States. President Obama and ex-president Clinton both attended the funeral of Israeli statesman Shimon Peres. Obama offered Clinton a free ride home on the glittering Air Force One.
However, Obama apparently grew increasingly impatient as the garrulous former president met with friends and associates before leaving. In video captured by Britain’s Sky News, Obama could be seen standing inside of the jet and then clapping three times to gain Clinton's attention and then shouting “let’s go” down to the airport tarmac. The comment was apparently directed toward Clinton, who was not seen in the video.
Clinton and Obama's Secretary of State, John Kerry -- an old friend -- were reportedly seen chatting on the tarmac before lift-off. Obama later walked out to the top of stairs and shouting “Bill. Let’s go, I’ll take you home,” waving his arm impatiently toward the plane. Clinton later boarded the plane via the stairs. Upon reaching the summit, he spread his arms and shook Obama's hands. Patting each other on the back for the cameras, they entered the plane together.
