An undercover video produced by Project Veritas investigators uncovered a plot by the leftist DC Anti-fascist Coalition to disrupt President-Elect Donald Trump’s inauguration by deploying butyric acid at the National Press Club during the Deploraball event scheduled for January 19th in Washington. In the video, members of the coalition discuss the steps to take in a direct action to bring the pro-Trump Deploraball to a halt. The coalition meeting was held at Comet Ping Pong, a pizza restaurant in the District of Columbia that became the focus of conspiracy theories about an alleged ring of pedophiles that became known as Pizzagate.
Project Veritas, which is led by activist James O’Keefe, has notified the DC Metro Police, as well as the Secret Service and the FBI about the contents of the video.

and plans to “ruin” the DeploraBall. The latter is a sold-out black-tie gathering planned for the evening of January 19 at the National Press Building, according to the Project Veritas investigation. In the video, an unidentified man (who has been identified as Scott Green) is heard to say, “I was thinking of things that would ruin their evening, ruin their outfits and otherwise make it impossible to continue with their plans. So they get nothing accomplished.” Green is one of the leaders of the D.C. Anti-Fascist Coalition.
Luke Kuhn, another activist identified as a part of the plot, says during the meeting at Comet Ping Pong pizza parlor, “If you had a pint of butyric acid, I don’t care how how big the building is, it is closing.” Green is heard to respond, “And this stuff is very efficient, it’s very, very smelly and it lasts a long time.”
Butryic acid has an overwhelming, nauseating smell and is commonly used in stink bombs. The anti-fascists say on the video that they would also set off the sprinkler system at the National Press Building. “I’m trying to think through how to get all the sprinklers to go off at once,” says a man identified as Colin Dunn. Dunn is heard to say that he wants to be certain that the vandalism is “made to look like an accident.”
has announced plans to disrupt the inauguration with protests and other direct action at various venues associated with the festivities. Leftist moviemaker Michael Moore, among others, has called on supporters to participate in the protests.
