At President Donald Trump’s news conference held a news conference today at the White House in which he announced his pick for Secretary of Labor, Alexander Acosta who served on the National Labor Board. Dismissing claims in the media that there is “chaos” in the White House, the president blasted the media for its “dishonesty” while also lamenting the “mess” he inherited from his predecessor, Barack Obama.
“The press, honestly, is out of control. The level of dishonesty is out of control."
"This administration is running like a fine-tuned machine," Trump said. Trump said the New York Times report about his campaign's contacts with Russian officials was a "joke" while also claiiming that it had been "very much discredited."
 "I own nothing in Russia. I have no loans in Russia. I don't have any deals in Russia," he said.
Then Trump criticized a report in the Wall Street Journal today as "almost as disgraceful as the failing New York Times." WSJ reported that the US intelligence community keeping intelligence from the president. The Office of the Director of National Intelligence has said the report is "not true."
Trump said that America is "drug-infested" and vowed to put a stop to it. "We're becoming a drug-infested nation. Drugs are becoming cheaper than candy bars. We're not going to let it happen any longer," he said. He went on to say that he places a priority on making America safe partly by deporting criminal illegal immigrants, gang members and drug dealers. "Our administration is working night and day to keep you safe, including reporters," said Trump.
