MSNBC anchorperson Mika Brzezinski said today that President Donald Trump's top counselor, Kellyanne Conway, is apparently barred from appearing on "Morning Joe." Brzezinski said on the show, "She books herself on these shows. We know for a fact that she tries to book herself on this show." Brzezinski added, "I won't do it because I don't believe in fake news or information that is not true, and every time I see her on television something is askew, off, or incorrect."
Joe Scarborough, the show’s cohost, said Conway was not present at important White House meetings and was simply "just saying things to get in front of the TV and prove her relevance." Brzezinski retorted, that Conway is "not credible anymore."
Brzezinski proclaimed that she will not interview Conway, while hinting that Conway is banned from the morning TV show.
Yesterday on "Morning Joe," Brzezinski said she would not interview Conway because it was "giving people dishonesty." She said Conway had claimed, before former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn's resignation, that Flynn had Trump’s full confidence.
When the New York Times reported this month that CNN's "State of the Union" show had refused to have Conway on the air, the White House counselor dismissed the report. However, the public relations office at CNN verified the NYT account.
