In the wake of the raid on the office and residence of Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal lawyer, by Special Counsel Robert Mueller legal team, a new poll indicates that American voters increasingly believe that the probe is politically biased. The survey also showed that voters do not believe that Mueller will be able to pin any criminal activity on the president.

Rasmussen Reports conducted a national telephone and online survey of 1,000 likely voters on April 10-11. The survey found that 46 percent of likely American voters believe, however, that Mueller -- a former director of the FBI -- is honestly trying to determine criminality in his probe of alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, that figure represents a drop in support from the 52 percent registered in October.

Of likely voters, 40 percent now believe that Mueller’s probe is a partisan witch hunt, which is an increase of 8 points from the 32 percent in the earlier survey. Fourteen percent are undecided.
