As allegations continue to surface about the sexual abuse of children by a number of Catholic cardinals, bishops, priests and deacons in the United States, I cannot help but wonder whether the veto powers of this “dark side” of the hierarchy have been a major factor in preventing the U. S. Conference of Catholic Bishops over the past several decades from coming out with a clear and decisive condemnation of Planned Parenthood and its perverted supporters.
After all, Planned Parenthood and its allies, aside from their sadistic abortion activities, have, for decades, have also been diligently involved in developing various “family life curricula” for our schools, by which young boys and girls have been carefully groomed to be more open to sexual perversion, exploration and exploitation – or, as the politeness of political correctness would have us say, the liberation of their libido.
Thus it is that this organization and its allies have been, de facto, prime providers of the “fresh meat” demanded by those, including clergy, looking for new victims for sexual exploitation and even for ritualistic and sadistic Satanic murders.
While it would seem that charity would dictate that I do no more than note this merely as an interesting coincidence, I cannot help but to note that, even if it is just a coincidence, it is still helping to perpetuate this abuse. Thus failure to address this reality would be tantamount to criminal and moral negligence.
Note that this failure continues to allow pro-actively pro-Planned Parenthood Catholic politicians to assert, with little, if any, hierarchal opposition, that, as "faithful Catholics”, they are free to fully support the agenda and “ministries” of that organization and its allies.. It also leaves them free to sacrilegiously insist that the Eucharistic Christ wills to give a smiling “thumbs up” to their support of all the “ministries” of Planned Parenthood and its allies. And if, as they allege, Planned Parenthood’s desecrating and destroying innocent human life before birth is a “sacred ministry,” which is “reverently ratified” even by the Eucharistic Christ at Mass, would not its similar desecration and destruction of innocent human life after birth be also a “sacred ministry”?
Sadly, as long as we in the hierarchy allow authentic conversion to be supplanted by some sort of sanctimonious damage control, the demons of darkness will continue to dance with degenerative delight.
We need real virtue, not merely the avoidance of litigation and bad press, which has allegedly been provided to the Church its VIRTUS program. We need self control, not damage control. And such self control can only be fully realized through ongoing sincere repentance and a diligent accountability to the whole truth of God offered through living in a conscientious communion with Jesus Christ.
God, grant us the wisdom and grace to embrace Your gifts of true repentance and regeneration in the obedience of faith!
