Vicente Fox Quesada, a former president of Mexico who has frequently criticized President Donald Trump, took a pot shot at Trump. Commenting on Trump’s departure from Washington DC to New Jersey for a summer break, Fox said that if Trump is not happy as job as president, he should "just leave."
.@realDonaldTrump leaving on vacation, huh? What for? If you're not happy with your job, just leave. After all, it was never for you.— Vicente Fox Quesada (@VicenteFoxQue) August 4, 2017
Fox tweeted, "Donald Trump leaving on vacation, huh? If you’re not happy with your job, just leave. After all, it was never for you.”
The Friday post by Fox came on the day that Trump left on a 17-day hiatus at his golf club in Bedminster, New Jersey. The post by the Mexican politician came also after Fox used the F-word when he tweeted once again that Mexico would not pay for the wall promised by Trump along the US/Mexico border.
Fox also sought to credit Barack Obama for the current uptick in employment numbers in the US. Commenting on a CNN article that said that Obama handed over an economy featuring full employment, Fox wrote: "See that Donald Trump. You've achieved nothing. You brag the results of others."
