In an interview with Jesse Watters of Fox News, President Trump denounced news host Rachel Maddow and the network, MSNBC. Watters spoke to Trump in Nashville on Saturday, where the president headline a rally where he sought to rally supporters for the Republican replacement for Obamacare. At the midpoint in the interview, Watters brought up the March 15 reveal by Rachel Maddow of Trump’s 2005 federal tax return.

Watter said that people at MSNBC “are doing everything they can” to bring down Trump. In response, the president said, “They’re bad people. There’s something wrong with them. They leaked them. It’s illegal to do what they did, I think. It's criminally offensive."

“They just don't respect the law, and we have to change that."

Trump moved on to discussing a recent video in which rapper Snoop Dogg appeared along with a mock assassination of the president. "I think it was terrible," Trump said of Snoop Dogg’s video. "Not because of me, but it's terrible to do that to any president — any person. I think it was pretty low-life. His career is falling, and he's getting a lot of publicity from it."

As to Russian president Vladimir Putin, Trump said, "Don't know him, but certainly he's a tough cookie. I don't know how he's doing for Russia, but I guess we'll find out one day."
