Taiyesha Baker was fired by the Indiana University Health system after claiming that white women raise sons to be killers, rapists, and terrorists. Baker tweeted that boys are a “detriment to society.” The tweets appeared on an account titled “Night Nurse,” which has been traced to Baker. The tweet read: “Every white woman raises a detriment to society when they raise a son. Someone with the HIGHEST propensity to be a terrorist, rapist, racist, killer, and domestic violence all star.” She added, “Historically every son you had should be sacrificed to the wolves. B****.”

In a statement, the hospital system -- which is one of the largest in the nation -- declared, “IU Health is aware of several troubling posts on social media which appear to be from a recently hired IU Health employee.” The statement added, “Our HR department continues to investigate the situation and the authenticity of the posts. During the investigation, that employee (who does not work at Riley Hospital for Children) will have no access to patient care.”

Subsequently, the IU system stated on Sunday that the nurse in question was no longer employed by IU.

The controversial tweet first appeared on the Twitter account @tai_fieri. However, it was quickly deleted.
