Among Americans of Hispanic heritage, support for President Donald Trump spiked during the month of June. The Harvard-Harris poll showed that Hispanic support for the president surged by 10 percent despite constant coverage by establishment media regarding the administration’s immigration policies. 

The poll showed that support among Hispanics contributed to Trump’s jump in approval ratings to 47 percent, which was a mere 2 points lower than his highest score ever. 

The Harvard-Harris poll found that 54 percent of Hispanics and 33 percent of Blacks approve of Trump’s handling of terrorism. On the issue of immigration, 55 percent of Whites, 38 percent of Hispanics, and 16 percent of Blacks approve of the job Trump is doing.

59 percent of Hispanics feel that the economy is on the right track, while 39 percent of Blacks feel that way. Of Hispanics polled, 65 percent said that their personal financial situation has improved under Trump while 56 percent of Blacks think so.

Among Republicans, 73 percent asserted that the country is on the 'right track" under Trump, as opposed to 17 percent of Democrats and 32 percent of independents. As to the partisan divide regarding the economy, 82 percent of Republicans say that the economy is on the right track, while only 25 percent of Democrats and 40 percent of Independents think so.

The poll questioned 1,448 registered voters over the course of June 24-25 and reflects a nationally representative sample with weighted results.
