Luke 1:48
''For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed''

Definition for blessed? Held in REVERENCE. So the verse means ALL GENERATIONS shall call me REVERED. So why don't protestants revere mary and just call her a regular women? It clearly states that ALL GENERATIONS will revere Mary. If protestant's don't call Mary blessed (revered one) who does? Who is the bible talking about when refering to ALL GENERATIONS will call Mary blessed? That's right it's Catholics I for one call Mary blessed several thousand times a month. Because clearly the bible is infallible and it states ALL GENERATIONS shall call her blessed. So its your choice to listen to the bible or not. You can't just call someone revered and not revere them.

Also she is your mother and she loves you. Jesus invites you to his family he shares his father and mother with you. We are a family.
Revelation 12

''1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a CROWN OF TWELVE STARS:''
'' 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.''
''5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.''
''17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of HER SEED, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.''

Genesis 3:15
''And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and HER SEED; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.''

Ever wonder why Jesus always calls his mom women all the time? She is the new eve that's why. It points to all of the above. We are HER SEED her offspring. The crown of twelve stars represents the 12 tribes of Israel. We are all adopted children of Israel and Mary is are queen and mother.

So do you call Mary blessed and revere her?

Never insult a Jewish man's mother. Jesus honours His Mother and expects us to do likewise, otherwise I would not want to stand before Him on Judgment Day.

And Mary did not forget about Jesus for a day. He was twelve years old and he slipped away. He was old enough that they should have been able to trust Him to remain with the Caravan during their journey home.

This is why they were upset with Jesus and not embarrassed at their own poor parenting when they searched for Him for three days and found Him in the Temple.

Mary was with Jesus for nearly His entire life, being apart only briefly during His ministry. How could someone be that close to Jesus be tempted to sin? Why would He even allow that? Did HE not honour His mother perfectly?

We don't "worship" Mary. We honor her and ask her to pray for us now and at the time of our death. She intercedes for her Son. As she did at Cana, for the wedding couple.

Your sarcastic comments degrading the Mother of God are sickening and shameful.

Your relationship with Christ and His holy family is neither humble nor is it appropriate for an adopted child of God.

Mary is Blessed among women, the Mother of Our Lord. I would gladly put her ahead of me.

And if men are valuing Mary as the Blessed Mother of Our Lord, then they are more likely to be treating their wives well too. Mary is our role model. I am sure that Joseph never beat Mary, never forced her to be subservient to him. He respected her. He loved her.

Men are to love their wives as Christ loved His Church. Christ died for His Church. Men are called to love that much.

Jesus first in all things. But I don't think that there is a competetion between Mary and Christian women for the affections of their spouses. Mary is not homewrecker. But she blessed among women and the mother of Our Lord. She is due honour and respect from Christian husbands and wives.

YEH, Mary is a great role model, Thats why she forgot all about Jesus [The Son of God] for at least a whole day.

YES, she a great role model.
Does that mean we can forget about Jesus for a day??.

PLEASE NOTE, Mary is blessed AMONG women, Not ABOVE women, Which is where catholics put her.

This is so very true what G4 has said and she is also not sinless like most or majority of Catholic think!
Mary was highly favor to bring forth our Saviour but never is to be worship or prayed too!
She did not have a virgin birth like Jesus so she still is with us under the sin of Adam and Eve and she needed a Saviour like us!

one love

G4,

Word to the wise.

Concern yourself with your own soul's salvation. Work that out with the Holy Spirit.

You are not Christ, God the Father or the Holy Spirit.

You don't determine the salvation of anyone else's soul.

To whom much is given, much is expected.

Your denomination has some of the fullness of Truth.

Work with what you've been given.

I have not been brainwashed by Protestantism to be afraid to call Mary blessed, The blessed virgin Mary.

Protestants have been brainwashed to be terrified to call Mary, The blessed virgin Mary.

Michael Jordan’s mother Protestants are ok & calm & have no problem

Billy Graham’s mother Protestants are ok & calm & have no problem

But Jesus mother & all the sudden the Protestant brainwashing kicks in & sends streaks of fear & terror up & down Protestants spines.

catholics don't teach the Bible, Never mind teach it correctly.
STOP TELLING LIES, YOU NAUGHTY EVIL MAN.

Where do you find the catholic teachings in the Bible???? WAKE UP.

Protestant call their opinions & interpretations of the Bible the bible.

Catholics do not follow Protestant opinions & interpretations of the Bible.

Protestants have a if others are not with them they are against them spirit.

Protestants have a distorted understanding of Mary in the Catholic Church.

Protestants are filled with deadly fear by Protestantism & are totally scared to read a book on Mariology in order to be informed from a Catholic point of view. Out of absolute fear protestants choose to have only a protestant point of view.

You have overlooked the fact that catholics aren't saved, So they aren't the seed of Christ.

you have overlooked the fact that you don't have a clue what your talking about again. god isn't gonna ask your permission to save anyone g4. so stop pretending to know what you could never know. you cannot even prove your saved for cryin out loud how can you possibly hope to know if other people are or not?

The catholicchurch doesn't teach the Bible, And it certainly doesn't teach the Bible's way of salvation, So I have the authority of God;s word to tell you that catholics aren't saved, FACT, And you certainly have lost any hope of salvation.

Are you seriously badmouthing the mother of God?

Remember, Jesus was fully God AND fully man. He was still a youth under obedience to his earthly parents.

The Blessed, Virgin Mary is rightfully honoured in my home. She is the Mother of my Lord, and the mother of my Church. She is a role model for Christian women everywhere.

She is a role model for Christian women everywhere.

That's why she forgot Jesus, Lk 2: 42--50.

Wrong again, she did not forget him he was in the temple and preaching his (God) Fathers business and they went all over looking for him and that is where they found him he did not let them know where he was going and they inquired why that's when he said he was going about his fathers business. She kept all that he said in her heart:)B3

That was at least a day later, Mary didn't bother about Jesus for at least a whole day.

YES, Mary is a role model for mothers all right.
