Posted - 06/28/2009 : 15:04:07 Can a great faith Christian raise micheal Jackson from the dead??
The bible does say we can do greater things as jesus , and we can cast out demon raise the dead, so I thought about MJ and if he was to be raised from the dead it would be a great witness to the christian belief and a testimony that Christ is a better supper star who is alive! What is your vote can this be done or not???
I really don't think know one even try to lay hand on micheal Jackson to be raised from the dead so that is why he remain dead, but I think it can be done, and we do have the power and faith in us if we are born again christians to do such a thing, just we don't practice so often what we preach.
So take a vote yes or no!

I think that too many threads are making it difficult to carry on a sensible discussion. I will not be posting on this thread anymore unless specific to the resurrection of Michael Jackson.
My opinion on the OP is that God can resurrect Michael Jackson, but there would be no purpose to it. To resurrect Michael Jackson would only feed on magic seekers and not inspire true Faith. I pray that God does not allow MJ to be resurrected until his appointed time.
thank you for you view about MJ and I do agree with you on what you say that peole might take it more of a magic show or vodoo, or thriller live! lol!

Such a person would not have a Bible if he had never had any contact with any other Christians. And for those who have never known Christ at all through no fault of their own, the Catholic Church has already answered that - go find it for yourself. It has been explained on this site before.
I asked about a person who just had a bible and no churchy??

Visible.
Christ's Church is both visible and invisible - and Christ's Church is His Body. So I will not leave my Church, for that would mean leaving Christ, and that I cannot do.
A Christian cannot focus on Christ alone and ignore His Church. Christ established His Church for our protection.
What happens to a person who lives in a forest or desert with no church to attend , and just has the Holy Spirit and a bible?

You can join a club if you wish, but I belong to the Family of God.

Belonging ,and being a daughter of Christ is better than joining a religious club FAL!

We are Christian, but if we say we are just Christian, then we get lumped in with all the heretics who also claim to be just Christian.
Too many Christians teach opposing doctrines and tell us Catholics that we are not Christian.
So while we are truly Christian, using the name Catholic which also applies to Christ's Church and has since the first century, we are able to remain that beacon on the hill instead of allowing potential Christians to think that Christ's Church is invisible and that it is impossible to have Truth.
It really shouldn't matter what church you are a member of but the real case should be who you are married too like Christ Himself who you love and follow and should be proud to say you are christian , or Christ like even though other have bad fruits , then show your good fruits as an anointed Christian or son or daughter of God! Know who you are in Christ and don't worry about those who do lip service , people will not want what show no light and no powers, and no authority!

that's a scapegoat not an answer evan.. people that disagree with your personal religion also believe that the bible is alive and that they too can interpret it differently. as a matter of fact i disagree with most of what you say and so does the catholic church and we believe that the holy spirit leads us in all truth. you will try to say that's because we're spoonfed but that really isn't the case at all. all you need to do is have all those non catholic christians who claim the holy spirit as their guide to actually start believing the same things then you may have some proof.. but then you would look a lot like the catholic church... with creed we all believe and agree on.
Can you say you are just Christian instead of saying you are catholic or whatever name it claim it?

you could have just used yourself. or any evangelical. for all the claims of works and law levied against the catholic church even i as an evangelical knew they understood grace in a way no evangelical ever could. i've never heard a catholic call smoking or drinking or dancing a sin. those are the first rules you learn as an evangelical... those are real merits and works that you should deal with..
