I am against abortion to an extent. That means if the mother's life is on the line then do what you must to save her.If a child which more then ever they die in child birth because of the size and immaturity of the body,is in trouble and suffering do the same! There is no law saying you can't save a life or perhaps two,no one should be forced to die this way screw all of you that think like this!!! FACT! My Lord would never let anyone suffer this why would he raise the dead and heal the sick??NADA! You ain't l.ike him if you let people die in labor I know what it is like, and it sucks the dog to go through so much pain and die like this and then say OH! It was for the LOrd?? NO, He won't except BLOOD SACRIFICES!!!

I am a lurker here at www.speroforum.com for 2 years, admiring most of the amazing information on this site. I chose never to join because I was still along the way of educating myself in this area of expertise. I have now decided that even though I'm not nearly as informed as I would like to be, my level of excitement and near-obsession has pushed me to become subscriber. Good to meet everyone and if you guys want to join my new forum im at house cleaning las vegas thanks again for your warm welcomes!

And I would point out that the Catholic Church is not opposed to C-sections. I have had one myself - it was an emergency c-section done to save my daughter's life when her cord came out first.

If a mother and daughter drove off a bridge and you only had time to save one which would you choose? The mother who has lived a decent life already or the child who is just beginning life? Which would you let suffer and die? Let's say you were the father. Which would you take then? The problem with the argument is that healing people has nothing to do with abortion. Jesus did heal people, but he did not heal everyone. His disciples certainly suffered and so have many people through time. Applying that to the issue of childbirth seems wrong. Applying that to a childbirth where a mother died is also wrong, whether or not the mother was an adult or a child. Children can die by drwoning, shall we then not let them swim? Teens have a high accident rate, do we not let them get a license? A boy died on a roller coaster at disney, do we now forbid children into the park? And do we use Jesus' healing to prove it?

No man should be touching a 9 year old in the first place. That should be step one. Ban it.

In some of those middle-eastern countries, they allow child brides. And the role of a wife is to bear children. Education to encourage a cultural change would help. And in the cases where children are still being caught up in this madness, should be able to have decent medical care to keep both mother and babies alive.

A child recognizes a baby in the womb as being a living human being. To force them to have an abortion is devastating. Adults rationalize that a baby in the womb is a blob of tissue, but young children know better. A C-section would avoid the risks of delivery at such a young age, and preserve the honour and digity of the mother.

I would like to see the father arrested. In Afganistan, a young child was given in marriage to an older man on the promise that he would not touch her until after she was of age (at least puberty), but he broke his word. she sought help and actually won a divorce from her husband. A rare event. She stood up for herself, and with a female lawyer, made a step forward in women's rights in that country. But they still have a long way to go.

Killing unborn children is not the solution. Education and better respect and treatment for women is the better way.

NO abortion just do a c section and remove the baby from her tummy what is so wrong with this? Don't wait till she is week just do it right away, they wat and let them suffer for the sins of their fathers.

And you think that this child would have survived an abortion???

Baby3, think about it. If this area of the world could not even perform a simple c-section to save her life, what makes you think that they would have performed an abortion without killing her?

Faith I told Mike this and I am telling you,A few years ago two to be exact there was a child of 9 who was in labor in Yemen and she was pregnant with two twins, she suffered three days before she gave up the ghost!!! Dam it when will you have feelings for any one??? Astrilis said a few years ago when I talked about child births and deaths "It stretches" Bull not on a child and it is abnormal to suffer and die like this The fathers who get these children pregnant get Excommunicated from the church That is all they get!!! Bull! I am for woman and children if you agree with this torcher it is because you are brain wished into thinking that is what Jesus wants for us it is not!!!You ever hear of Sadism?? No one will ever make me think that letting a child suffer for the sin of what others do to them is a good thing and we should offer her as a sacrifice to God!! He destroyed places that offered their virgins or children up to the gods why would he think any different? That man should be dead and sent to God for him to handle not let free so he can inflict pain on another child.

Abortion does not save lives.

In the Catholic Church, medical doctors are permitted to do whatever they can to save the life of the mother, even if it may indirectly cause the death of the child.

What is forbidden is the deliberate taking of the child's life.
