Inquistion and Jihads are perfect examples of "cultivating truth". The Vatican thus called young Muslims and Christians to "cultivate truth and freedom, in order to be genuine heralds of justice and peace and builders of a culture which respects the dignity and the rights of every citizen."

Obviously peace doesn't flow from being a new creation in Christ,
as both Catholics and Muslims can cultivate peace.
The Inquisition is the Roman Catholic witness
and the daily new is the witness for the religion of peace!
Is there still any doubt that the Vatican doesn't know what they are talking about? |

If I were to be the mother of God, I would consider that a lifetime mission that superseded everything else.
If my husband knew that I conceived a child by God through the overshadowing of the Holy Spirit, there is no power on earth that could pursuade him to enter in where God was made Flesh and came to dwell amoung us.
But, then we are kind of old fashioned, like the first century Jews.
The Catholic Church has been around for a very long time. And she has dealt with Muslims from their very beginning. The Pope understands better than most what we are dealing with, when dealing with Islam. And, he puts his trust in God more than in politics. With God, all is possible. |

That might be why God has never chosen her to be the mother of His Son. If she was ever chosen, Luke 1:26-34 would have been something like this:

You are obviously talking about an imaginary person,
who has no semblance to the Mary, who is blessed. |

Jumping around from one topic to another is many Protestants' area of specialization. In just one post we have Catholics and Muslims worshipping the same God; the salvation of Muslims; jihad, the inquisition, and the pedophiles. How one is expected to address all those without derailing the discussion is beyond me.
But you have to believe that Muslims and Christians worship the same God or risk being a laughing stock, like i said earlier. Just because the Jehovah's Witnesses' understanding of Christ differs from the Baptists' understanding does not mean they believe in two different Christs. What differs is their understand of the same Christ. I hope that will help. |

Ugh, no.
The Pope was able to extend out and say as much as could be said in Christian generosity and Truth.
You apparently are unaware of the vast numbers of Orthodox and Catholic Christians who live in Muslim countries.
