Hi Spero People,

As a newby to this forum, I wanted to say hello. I'm an Aussie, who has been following your threads for some time and thought it might be expedient to make myself known. :)
Ahh,,, Australia - the land down under. Must be a beautiful place to visit. Wish I had the $$ to travel. That would be 1 or 2 on my list to see. When I was younger I fantized visiting the outbacks. I became interested when I was a child and faithfully would follow the results of the Melbourne Olympics in 1956. In the late 60's a friend of mine and I were seriously thinking of taking a trip and I got info on the Continent..... but..... his wife put a stop to it. Can you imagine that!!!!! HIS WIFE SAID NO ... Such a spoil sport... I didnt want to go alone so I never got there. Too old now and no $$ so I visit Australia only in my dreams.
Welcome aboard mate....Take care of the koalas and the... whatchamacallits - hippidy-hoppidies.... Kanga and Roo....
We must never glance at what is good in ourselves, much less ponder over it, but we should search out what is wrong and what is lacking. This is an excellent way of remaining humble.

Hi Everyone,

I felt i needed to introduce myself after several posts. I went here after google suggested this forum. I became a member here in an attempt to discuss with some (e-mail) friends and clarify our differences in faith/confessions. I wish they follow suit.

I'm geekborj (m) from the Philippines, married and has one boy (2.5 y.o.) and another on the way. I'm a Catholic convert since 2005. I fell in love with Christ in the Catholic Church. I found the Catholic Teachings most coherent of all I can find.

See you all around. May God give us grace to help each other grow in faith, have hope, and spread the love.
