I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

Evan, I applaud your efforts. You certainly have a great love for the Lord and for evangelization and that is commendable. Just watch out for false dichotomies. i.e. that because Catholics don't believe faith alone we have works based salvation. Another thing I will add is I find it very odd that when protestants speak about getting someone "saved" they rarely if ever mention baptism (this is in regard to the one guy you interviewed who travels all over and takes his kids along with a teacher, but it is a general comment). Yet in the NT post pentecost scriptures any time someone comes to Christ they are baptized.

Thanks thess for your honet commit!
I really never addressed people to get saved personally because I know they need to be discipled first and make a true heart choice for the Lord.
AS they walk with Christ I tell them they need to get water baptized and explain what the bible says how to be a real born again Christian and do other thing as pray, read the biblem go to church, offering and etc, so I leave nothing out, and show them the perfect will of God.

one love and peace

So Paul and Peter and all the evanglists in the Bible were wrong for speaking about baptizing and baptizing some even in the middle of the night such as the jailor? Where is an example of what you do?

No! I was just saying look at the order when they got water baptized.,
They heard the truth or seen th power of God and then repented in their hearts , confessed their sins and gave it to Jesus , and then got baptized.
When I go witnessing I can first of all preach the Word of God and they accept , and then I asked them to get baptized when they come to church, and get in a cource to know what they are doing.

That is no kind of gospel, that is very strange!

how can you not understand that? when you read the bible is it from paul or john? or is it from god? paul and john were certainly writers and so it certainly did come from them yet we know that they, like the church are subject to god. so if we say we were reading from the gospel of john we don't mean that it came from a man, and if one were to say well thats manmade we would say no because it came from god, john was led, inspired by the holy spirit.

if you cannot understand the church then please don't flop and loop around with the bible evan because it's the same "chain of command". if you use that argument against the church you cannot use the complete reverse to support the bible. about the best you can do is be confused, which you do claim and if your that confused i don't think having a tv show should even be an option right now.

Let me be clear. The problem is not what you do but by what authority you do it. From a sola scriptura point of view you do not have any authority other than the Bible and by that authority EVERY TIME that someone came to Christ they were IMMEDIATELY baptized. Not after some course. So I'll ask you again and ask you to be honest, give me a passage by which you do what you do as per sola scriptura (keep in mind I don't believe in SS but am pressing you on this because you claim to). Again when I listen to evangelical radio or hear billy graham or Luis Palow or the guy on your video or any of the other protestant evangelists they almost NEVER speak of baptism.

Final authority!

1Co:4:6: And these things, brethren, I have in a figure transferred to myself and to Apollos for your sakes; that ye might learn in us not to think of men above that which is written, that no one of you be puffed up for one against another.

People are saved without getting a water ritual baptism when they do this:

Ro:10:8: But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;
Ro:10:9: That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Ro:10:10: For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

One of Paul mai salvation teaching but if you reject Pauls teachings also , then I can't help you neither can God.

peace , one love

That is why the scriptures say :
Believe those things that be not , so if they were!

Is that fooling myself?
Maybe that biblical thing I am following and you reject!

Evan still waiting for that passage that justifies not baptizing people right away. Again, protestant evangelists rarely if ever mention baptism. That's not the model in the NT where every instance in fact speaks of baptism and the converts are baptized immediately. Acts 2, 3000, acts 4, 4000, cornelius and company, Lydia and company, the Jailor and his family, the Etheopian Eunuch, etc. etc. Why don't protestants talk about baptism when evengelizing. I can listen to protestant evangelists on the radio for months and not hear baptism mentioned.

And Scripturally, baptism is always associated with forgiveness of sins, regeneration and being incorporated into the Body of Christ. So, indeed, it should be emphasized in our evangelism. Another area they are weak on is the Church. They take more of a hand them a Bible and get with Jesus on your own and then after that find a good bible-believing church approach.
