Can a great faith Christian raise micheal Jackson from the dead??The bible does say we can do greater things as jesus , and we can cast out demon raise the dead, so I thought about MJ and if he was to be raised from the dead it would be a great witness to the christian more...

Choices:

yes MJ be raised from the dead
no MJ can not be raised from the dead

I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

[quote]i could compare all sorts of things that really have no real relation too evan... but what would be the point of that. i mean the jw's were at my house a few weeks ago and they stole the same bible you did from the church and are using it for their own purposes. the mormons have prophets and charismatics and pentacostals also claim to have prophets... though i think they are really just trying to make a profit.... so they can show everyone how rich god has made them which is really what the modern churches have changed the gospel to/quote]

Why would they think they are not blessed we believe the scriptures:

Eph:1:1: Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, to the saints which are at Ephesus, and to the faithful in Christ Jesus:
Eph:1:2: Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.
Eph:1:3: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

How did treasure in Heaven and spiritual blessings get perverted into monetary wealth and earthly possessions?

Better news than being raised from the dead !

Micheal Jackson has accepted the Lord Jesus Christ and is not a Muslim, JHW momon or catholic , but is a born again Christian saved and accepted Jesus as his personal savior two weeks before he died so he has eternal life, and praise God I will see him in person again with our Jesus and God!

Evangelist To The Stars Offered Christ To Michael Jackson

Tim Storey (evangelist to the stars-for lack of a better description) was recently a guest on Yolanda Adams’ morning show. I caught the end of the interview, but he shared that he and others had ministered to Michael Jackson. And that in the past few weeks he was receptive. Tim stated that we have not seen the fruit of the ministry in Michael’s life from the people that had reached out to him about salvation and the things of God, but it was there. So prayerfully in the end he confessed Christ as Lord and Savior.

i know evan... going low doesn't fit with the prosperity gospel.:0

Mat 23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.
Mat 23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

this verse is the key to understanding why catholics don't have a problem with the pope or bishops or priests... because we know they are servants, which compared to the arrogance of many evangelical pastors and televangelists..... enough said.

I thought the vatican is in the position of the high power of the visible churchy and has it own prideful authority!

How can it be prideful when Jesus Christ set it up? The Pope is our servant, doing the will of God. Admittedly, it is possible for a servant of God to rebel and be less than christ-like, but I do not see that very often in the Papacy.

The Church must be visible or else who could find it? Other groups also make themselves visible through the media and other means, but claim an invisible church in order to unite themselves with other Christians even when they do not agree. That is not unity. And that is not what Christ prayed for when He asked that we be one as He and the Father are One.

The Pope has a position of high responsibility. The priests and bishops also have positions of responsibility. They are shepherds for Christ's Flock and will be held accountable for the work that they do or fail to do. Too many others just seek power and glory for themselves. They claim Christ, but live for themselves.
