Can a great faith Christian raise micheal Jackson from the dead??The bible does say we can do greater things as jesus , and we can cast out demon raise the dead, so I thought about MJ and if he was to be raised from the dead it would be a great witness to the christian more...
I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

How can it be prideful when Jesus Christ set it up? The Pope is our servant, doing the will of God. Admittedly, it is possible for a servant of God to rebel and be less than christ-like, but I do not see that very often in the Papacy.
The Church must be visible or else who could find it? Other groups also make themselves visible through the media and other means, but claim an invisible church in order to unite themselves with other Christians even when they do not agree. That is not unity. And that is not what Christ prayed for when He asked that we be one as He and the Father are One.
The Pope has a position of high responsibility. The priests and bishops also have positions of responsibility. They are shepherds for Christ's Flock and will be held accountable for the work that they do or fail to do. Too many others just seek power and glory for themselves. They claim Christ, but live for themselves.
Yes your pope will be held accountable, and I would not want to be in his shoes when he stand before God! But your pope has a choice and is a free will agent!
BTW God is Spirit and He look at us in the spiritual world or invisble world. Human do look and judge and pick alot by the visible, or join a visible society to be a good member of a religious club or churchy!

Praise God MJ had a charismatic protestant funeral! It was sad but knowing that he accepted Jesus is a joy to know we will meet again!
Praise the Lord MJ is in peace with Jesus even not going or joining a church!

If one person from the one billion people watch the funeral got saved, and join in the prayer of love the pastor prayed, then it was worth more than 200 million dollars! i think the funeral showed more of a world wide love. It reminded me of :
1Co:13:1: Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 1Co:13:2: And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 1Co:13:3: And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 1Co:13:4: Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 1Co:13:5: Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 1Co:13:6: Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 1Co:13:7: Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 1Co:13:8: Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
i think MJ gave a 20% of all his money to the poor and to charity!

Most of it yes, but not everything. It would be better if he sang the one hit (I am Bad) to sing (I'M good) for instance, but I appreciate his talent there will be no one as good as him, praise God he got born again , saved before he died without a water baptism also!

I used to listen to that song. "I wanna rock with you" is good too. Were all those songs off the "Off the wall" album? I never liked Thriller.

Do you not think Rev. Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson played a hand at MJ's supposed conversion? Publicity does seem to be important to them. I thought MJ was raised JW and turned to Islam... seems funny that he would convert all of the sudden.

i like beat it also. the cool thing about this guy is that he composed a lot of his own music; pretty much his best songs are done by him.
