Do you think that men are more happier then woman and if so why do you think this? I myself think that they have alot less on their plate, i wonder if that's why they are alway's hungry? That's just a joke.

Men who accept the responsibility for being the head of the household have a lot on their plate, just as much as women, only different.

Most men today, though, do not accept their traditional responsibility and the woman ends up taking care of the children and having a full-time job, in addition to treating the husband like she's his mother. The irony is that women are taught to take on this superwoman role and men are taught to let them do it. This situation eventually ends up in divorce because the man does feel stressed in this unnatural and emasculated role. Jon of "Jon and Kate" is a good example of this.

Most people need to choose more wisely, I think.

I liked your answer ans thought it was fair, as today it dosen't matter who works as long as there is bread on the table. But do you think men are more happyier now then when the woman had to stay home? lacy-1

If everything was equal and the only change was the family-life, then men and women are clearly not happier than when motherhood and fatherhood were valued.

The way the economy is going i know alot of woman going back to school because of the Obama grant for education, and it actually free's up alot of jobs and gives the men out of work a chance to work again instead of baby sitting. they are not made to do baby siting. My personal opinion. lacy-1

I don't see how that has anything to do with the discussion.

Why not? May be they would like it better if they were not in the house as much and had a differnt kind of job. Kids are not that easy to take care of. Or may be the economy gives them job security? lacy-1

Someone once said that men are happy because they have women, whereas women aren't happy because they have men...

Make of that what you will!

If you don't want to take care of your kids, then don't have kids. There is so much you can do with your kids and you can often take breaks. This is what's wrong with families today: they put their own happiness before their children or spouses. The irony is that it only makes them sadder and leads to divorce yet they can have all the happiness they want if they would only value what's in front of them.
