I guess most of the religions i ever studied with had condemning spirits. They tell you to love and have a nice week but when they are up in the pulpits they slander each others religion and make fun of each other Is this helping God save anyone for the kingdom teaching condemnation? When you teach like this you hurt the Holy Spirit of God because you quench the Spirit and people end up hating just like you do. I was scared of the Muslims and what they might have had planned for this country because of 911 etc. and the fact they hate westerners ect. But i can fear allot more when I see ministers preaching hatred for other congregations If you don't like them leave them alone and pray for God to intervene.People that do this hatred thing will never see God for God is the judge not man. I have been wrong in allot of things and I can see what people must have thought of me and my comments but inside I have never really hated anyone and should have never made some of the comments I have in the past but I see predgedist in most of all the religions and all claiming to be the true church of Christ,to me the only true church lives in a true believer with a good conscience and a good heart that would die for anyone on earth even the ones who are not so lovely or another color. For all I know all churches are out for money and fame and to be the biggest and best, but perhaps it is all in the heart as I suspect with God. He is a searcher of the heart and if your heart is not filled with love for mankind then you are not part of his live church on this earth. He lives in my heart not in any building so every congregation has the same written on it's door post.My Jesus is in your heart and my Jesus lives in my heart my Jesus tells me to love to the death, and give till it hurts, and do good for all mankind not just inside your church. The ones I am confused for I pray for and the ones I love I love!Let go and let God!B3

I know you are not hateful. We all say things we later regret. Jesus works in us. Sanctification can be a process consisting of many ups and downs. And you are right, love is most important. Like Augustine says, we must go with what we know for sure about him - that he is love - and build from there.
Since her inception, the Church has been in the process of refinement - like a type of purgatory - in order to eventually become the spotless bride of Christ. This became clear once the papacy was relinquished of temporal power and began focusing on spiritual matters. It may take the world a while to see it, but I can't seem to see anything else at the moment.
It bears repeating that the Body of Christ is indeed composed of all the faithful. I never hear hate in a Catholic church. Protestant baptisms are considered to be valid to them. Now Jesus is waiting on Protestants to accept Catholics, another beautiful work in progress.

Speaking from a Catholic perspective;
Having Jesus in our heart is a recognition of the grace we've been freely given by God in Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Marriage, Last Rites and Holy Orders.
Jesus created His Church and He and the Father sent the Holy Spirit to guide her. Jesus passed His authority and grace to the Apostles. And they passed that authority on to those they ordained through the Sacraments.
Jesus' Church is communial and worldwide.
His Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity is present to us in every Catholic Church - through the Eucharist. We hold Him, like His mother Mary did; in our bodies and in the Tabernacles of our Churches.
All the faithful (Catholic and non-Catholic) are His Body on Earth. We are His hands and feet upon Earth. He is head of our Church. Together we are all, One Body.

What does it mean to be relinquished from tempral power? Why was the Papacy relionquished from it? PLease explain as I am not use to your wording. I was baptized by the Catholic church and made Conformation and was then B aptized by teh Baptist church and then 3 years ago was reconciled back to the church buit I left again shortly there after.I have had the Euchrist but I don't feel the Body of Christ there??But I can say this truthfuly that when I was a child I could tell when something was going to happen or I had things that happened to me that were strange and I was always talking to God and singing to him,but I was scared of everything and it got to me, afraid to say anything bad or do anything wrong so scared that I had night mares allot.I was made to do Novenas and pray to statues and light candles and pray for miricals ect.I would fall to sleep with my rosarys in my hands and in the middle of a novena for my mother. There is so much to learn in the Catholic faith and I won't go to the church near me for reasons well beyond my control.B3

I mean that any political corruption in the past is just that - in the past. It was acknowledged, and the popes now focus on feeding Jesus' sheep as they are supposed to. A lot of people seem to ignore the positive results of the Reformation. Like Pope JP II said, Luther was right - not about the separation of Scripture and Tradition, but about the Church’s need for reform.

Some people may feel differently after receiving Eucharist, but "feeling" is a human sense perception which changes with the wind.
I focus on how giving Jesus is, and how He has made Himself available to us in the Eucharist. His Way of converting me away from my sin and drawing me in close personal relationship to Him.
People do fear Reconciliation, however they shouldn't.
People who suffer from scrupulosity often suffer with an overwrought anxiety toward the development of their moral consciences. Young children & teens often pass through this stage as they strive to develop their consciences so that they align with the will of God.
Reconciliation can be a very healing and joyful activity. One more way to experience God's grace.
I have a Droid & there's an app for $2 called "Confession, A Roman Catholic App". It's very helpful, and can be used for a daily examination of conscience. In Reconciliation with a priest, the app has a confession guide feature that pulls all my information together.
The app is set up for mortal sins, but it allows for manually editing of the app toward venial sins. It's been very helpful for me. It's provided a way for me to visually see and track my habits which tend toward producing sins of omission and comission.

Baby, I used to have unhealthy fears as a Baptist, some due to a strong sense of connections between Baptists and Freemasonry. I am very thankful for my Baptist upbringing, though. It's funny how things work. I turn to the Catholic Church, and you, to the Baptist. As long as we trust in Jesus, there is nothing to fear.

I might have to check that out. I had a pretty neat free version of a Confession app a while ago. But I deleted it to make room for something else, and now, they don't have it.

You know what? As much as we have had our blowups,I really like you in fact I love you!:) Was Billy Graham a Baptist? You know there are many who say that the Knights of Columbus are like freemasonry.Did you ever hear this from others?Well yesterday I had surgery and I am a hurting unit.I should be in bed,but I was lonely and thought I would come here to talk,I love all people and all churches I would love to go to a Greek Orthodox they have a beautiful one in Lewiston Maine with a gold temple etc. When i am feeling better I think I will visit. The church I have been attending is Methodist and once the pastor told all of us to go into another church that week to see what they are like and what we would like about that church. It is fun and G4 would or should do this to see just what it really is that he hates about the Catholic church or was taught to hate, as I was being Baptist. The Methodist church is Catholic but they just don't have a Pope, woman can preach and teach and there are some very talented woman to do this, and way back in time woman took over churches till a minister got there because the minister died. It's no big deal unless you make it one:(But I love all religions except those who claim you don't need to be Baptized ever! That is breaking a commandment of the Lord, this is wrong to ever teach.Blessings and Peace! I wish I knew what you know:) B3

Ha Love you too, baby. Hope you feel better. And yes, Billy Graham Is a Baptist. I have a departed mason in my family, and he LOVED Jesus with every breath of his life, so I let the whole thing go.
But yes, I think it would do g4 a little good to get out of his comfort zone, though I could imagine hell freezing over before he ever stepped foot in a Catholic Church. But hey... people thought the same thing about me back in the day.

The confession app is not a something that anyone confesses to. Just a tool to help someone prepare for the sacrament. The Catholic Church does not allow virtual confessions.

And apps do not have Holy Orders so they cannot absolve sins.
