Luke 1:48 ''For behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed''
Definition for blessed? Held in REVERENCE. So the verse means ALL GENERATIONS shall call me REVERED. So why don't protestants revere mary and just call her a regular women? It clearly states that ALL GENERATIONS will revere Mary. If protestant's don't call Mary blessed (revered one) who does? Who is the bible talking about when refering to ALL GENERATIONS will call Mary blessed? That's right it's Catholics I for one call Mary blessed several thousand times a month. Because clearly the bible is infallible and it states ALL GENERATIONS shall call her blessed. So its your choice to listen to the bible or not. You can't just call someone revered and not revere them.
Also she is your mother and she loves you. Jesus invites you to his family he shares his father and mother with you. We are a family. Revelation 12
''1And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a CROWN OF TWELVE STARS:'' '' 2And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered.'' ''5And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and to his throne.'' ''17And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of HER SEED, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.'' Genesis 3:15 ''And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and HER SEED; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.''
Ever wonder why Jesus always calls his mom women all the time? She is the new eve that's why. It points to all of the above. We are HER SEED her offspring. The crown of twelve stars represents the 12 tribes of Israel. We are all adopted children of Israel and Mary is are queen and mother.
So do you call Mary blessed and revere her?

Where did you learn this? Everyone that I ever met called her Blessed Mother of God or the Lord mother Mary and they have plays about her and the mangers etc in churches it is very nice and they play silent night and away in the manger They don't pray to her but they do acknowledge the fact she is the Mother of the Lord.

There are many who do. But there is a growing number of Protestant churches and their roots have been around for a long time that smash mangers and tell any Christians that have them are going to Hell.
I have been told by so many evangelicals and other Protestants that Mary is common, a mere vessel unworthy of a kind word. They stop short of calling her a harlot, but only barely.
I have heard a great many insults to our Blessed Mother, and I have found very few Protestants who will call her "Blessed", they feel that this would detract from God.
I am glad that you live in an area where our Blessed Mother is not insulted with every breath. That must be very refreshing. But it is not as common as it should be.

The Blessed, Virgin Mary is rightfully honoured in my home. She is the Mother of my Lord, and the mother of my Church. She is a role model for Christian women everywhere.

I have never heard a protestant call her mother of god and except her as their mother. I have heard repeatedly her being called a regular women by protestants. Also the crazy concept they have of thinking we worship her instead of revere her points to this.
Also we pray for her to intercede for us not to her as a deity. For the one mediator between man and God verse that gets spammed. Of course there is one mediator between God and man that is Jesus. So I ask Mary to intercede for me James 5:16 ''The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.'' amplifying my prayer to Jesus (Jesus listens to his mom extra <3) and he goes to God. No one else can go to God only Jesus. http://www.catholic.com/tracts/praying-to-the-saints

I have never heard Protestants call her Mother of God either. Much less, Blessed Mother of God.

You have overlooked the fact that catholics aren't saved, So they aren't the seed of Christ.

[1]PLEASE NOTE, Lk 1: 28, Blesses AMONG women, Not above women. catholics have exatled Mary higher then she would want them to, She would be very cross with catholics if she knew.
[2]You said, [Quote] Also we pray for her to intercede for us [End quote]. SCRIPTURES PLEASE.
PLEASE NOTE, James 5: 16, Is talking about people in this life praying for each other, Not those in heaven praying for us.
Nowhere in the Bible does it say those in heaven intercede for us, Or we can pray to them..That is just another catholic lie.

g4.. provide scriptures for your belief in being slain in the spirit, or stop asking others to provide scriptures for their beliefs. there is nobody here that needs to provide you scriptures for anything unless your own beliefs are up to that standard. i for one will not stand for your hypocrisy in this.
anyway all your points above are off base completely, probably because your not really educated or you just fell for that anti catholic propaganda like so many others..
mary is blessed among women. and that is how catholics see her. i don't recall ever hearing a non catholic even refer to mary in a positive sense.. usually she comes up when they are whining about catholics.. i even remember a book of women in the bible where the evangelical author didn't even bother to place jesus mother.. nice... blessed among women indeed. anyway the fact is that mary is right where she needs to be in catholic belief. and none of your complaining about it matters. personally i think the reason that protestants reject mary is because they are against women and didn't like it that so many catholic women were saints or that mary was so popular in catholic circles. after the reformation there were no religious groups for women, all the monasteries were put down and men were now worshipped for their speaking ability.. what choice did women have but to remain barefoot and pregnant in the protestant world..

the reason I left the born again movement in the 70's was the disrespect they have for the reverence of Mary. Even cracking jokes about her....
Yes, I most heartily revere Mary, more so than my own mother.
As far as G4 is concerned, his use of Scripture is inept to say the least. Not only does he not produce Scripture for his slain in the spirit crapola, but also no scripture showing God chose to not know Adam and Eve would sin even though he admits God knows our sins before we commit them........certainly makes sense......NOT

What an unfortunate remark for you to make, an outward display of your inward spirituality toward Jesus' mother and father and the Holy family.
How very disrespectful of you as a Christian.

Nowhere does the Bible say we are to revere Mary. We are to revere Jesus, But not Mary. The catholics go overboad on Mary, To the point that they ask her to intercede for them Instead of Jesus. They make her a co-redeemer, and a A co-interceeder. And you don't find that in the Bible.

What you find about Mary in Sacred Scripture is that she always pointed toward Jesus.
The "wedding guests" ran out of wine and she interceded for them to her Son.
