OK This needs honest answers: If the church of Jesus started in Rome and the Romans had occupancy then and if the Jews destroyed the Temple (Which I herd it was the Jews and the Romans) How did the church of the enemy that crucified the Lord and the Roman soldiers that pierced his side not a Jew and up in the enemies camp and remain there? How come all the disciples were slaughtered by the Romans why would my Lords yes! My Lords church remain there? Do you love the Lord or the Pope? Do you want to be right with the Lord or with man! Make your choice and remember that it is not a game dame it! It is your mortal soul that is in jeopardy.B3

The book of revelations, What did you think it was??. It is the last book in the Bible, Unless you have a catholic Bible with added books.
did you mean the revelation of jesus christ? no s g4. that's so funny how evangelicals say revelations... the book had a point and it wasnt the antichrist or the end times. it was a disclosure on jesus.. that he was God.

The TRUE Church started in Jerusalem, Acts 2: 1--5. Peter never went to Rome, There is no record of Peter ever being in Rome. The catholics make their own lies up.

Jerusalem, Antioch then Rome. It was necessary that the Church establish a headquarters in the capitol of the Empire in order to spread throughout the world.
Early writings attest to the fact that both Peter and Paul were martyred there.
It's funny how people love to say Babylon refers to Rome in Revelation but deny that very same thing when Peter writes from there.

[1]The Church headquarters was at Jeruselam, Not Rome [2]There is no record of Peter ever going to Rome, Even if He did, What has that got to do with the catholic church or the pope??. The catholic church wasn't formed for at least another 300-600 years, And the pope even later. [3]No one says the Babylon in Revelations refers to Rome, Because it doesn't.

My bibles have the book of Revelation. (The) Revelation (of Jesus Christ)... It's singular. The fact that you miss that detail makes me question all of your interpretations.
The "added" books you refer to are in the Old Testament, so Revelation is the last book even my Catholic bible.

Baby3, is that not exactly what is happening now? Many are leaving the Church because false teachers have tickled their ears. Just as the Bible warned.

As for the OP, simple. But you started with a false premise. The Church started in Jerusalem and spread from there. The Church ended up on Rome because all the Christians were ending up there to be martyred so it was a great place to gather information in one location, especially after Jerusalem fell.
Christ's Church was intended to be for all, not just the Jews. So it was natural that it should be situated in the centre of the Gentile world at the time, the rising Roman Empire.
The Church was largely underground during the great persecutions in Rome, and they literally practiced their faith under ground as evidenced by the Christian artwork that remains in the Roman Catecombs beneath the city.
And the Church remained there instead of running away because this was Christ's Church. Not man's.
It was the obligation of the Church to face up to her enemies, not just leave them to spread paganism around the world. The New Testament frequently warned that we would be hated for His Name, that we would die for our faith, and be persecuted for it.
Modern churches preach the easy life where we can be rich and health and popular. But that is not what Christ's Church stood for. If we are not willing to lay down our lives for what Christ taught, then why call ourselves Christians?
What profit a man if he gains the entire world but loses his immortal soul? So much for wealth.
Matthew 16:24-26
King James Version (KJV)
24Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
25For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.
26For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?
Should the Church have run away from Roman Empire and left the world to suffer damnation.
We stood toe to toe with the Devil and WON. The Church overcame the Roman Empire and outlasted her. Such is the power of Christ.

B3,
It seems to me that you are confusing the Roman Empire with the (Roman) Catholic Church.
The Roman Empire worshipped various pagan gods and goddesses that they had assimilated for the sake of territorial expediancy.
They made a separate allowance for Judaism in that they rejected all Gods but the One God.
However, the Roman Empire refused to make allowance for trinitarian monotheism (Christianity). And, in 70 A.D. the Roman Empire destroyed Temple worship - the central aspect of Judaism.
Christians for over 200 years were butchered, burned as candles, fed to lions, and basically treated as non-humans by the pagan worshipping Roman Empire.
The city of Rome was the Roman Empire's central governmental power base (just as Washington D.C. is for the United States).
Peter and Paul's mission was to evangelize the governing body at Rome. They both wanted to make Trinitarian monotheism a legal religion throughout the Empire.
They both were martyred in Rome (as were many many thousands of other followers of Christ in His New Covenant.)
Chrisitianity (Catholicism) is the peaceful triumph of God's law over not only Rome but the then Roman Empire.

God's Church teaches what God told us to teach, And that is the same as what God has said.
The Bible says, God gives us the power to get wealth so He can establish His covenant. The Bible says, God is able to make all grace abound that we always have all sufficiency in all things, So we can give to every good work. The Bible says, Jesus has taken out sicknesses, And by His stripes we WERE healed, "Were" is past tense, So We were healed, Now all we have to do is, Believe it and receive healing.
SO,The Bible does teach health and wealth. Gues what, YOUR WRONG AGAIN.
You said you stood toe to toe with the devil, You still are, he is the one behind the catholic church, And the pope and priests are the devils agents. Your preist has deliberately sent you to hell for not baptising you, Yet he knew what baptism is, How demonic is that??.

Ha, no it doesn't. The very first verse says it is the revelation of Jesus Christ to John, not of John. Do you need some coffee?
"The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to shew unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John." (Revelation 1:1)

baby.. christianity spread through the world and rome was part of that world. rome eventually legalized christianity and so we see that not only people were born again, but nations as well. jews persecuted christians when the church started in jerusalem, pagans persecuted them as they spread through the empire. now the reason christianity stuck with the roman empire which isn't just rome but was europe, north africa and the middle east was because islam kicked some booty and took a lot of land in a very short time. they took africa and the middle east and in that the other centers of christianity such as antioch, jerusalem and alexandria, fell. leaving rome as the last bastion of the faith.. if the roman empire had fallen so completely that rome and constantiople were lost, people like g4 would be praying to allah now.
