we can certainly do the Early Church Fathers. This is the dawn of Christianity.

But we should probably start a little earlier.

St Genevieve,Virgin January 3rd
She was born in Paris about the year 422. She was 7 years old when ST Germain Of Auxerre came to her native village on his way to Great Britain to combat the heresy of Pelagius. The child stood in the mist of the crowd gathered around the man of God who signaled her out and foretold her future sanctity. At her desire the holy bishop lead her to a church, accompanied by all the faithful and consecrated her to God as a virgin.
Then Atilla was reported to be marching on Paris, the inhabitants of the city planned to evacuate, but ST Genevieve persuaded them to advert to scourge by fasting and prayer assuring them of the protection of heaven. The event verified the prediction, for the barbarian suddenly changed the course of his march. The life of St Genevieve was one of great Austerity, constant prayer, and works of charity. She died in the year 512.
I guess she lived till 70 and why would she be a nun at such a young age? Do you know more about her life I did not speak of Anyone??? B3 You know by writing these down it helps me remember better:)

Mary accepted to become the mother of our Lord at a very young age, and according to Tradition was a consecrated virgin already.

The further we go back, the hard it is to know a great deal about saints unless they also left writings.

And, sometimes God calls people very early. There are some priests who never figure out their calling till later, but others knew almost from the beginning of their life that they were called to be priests.

I wanted so much to be a nun but it just couldn't happen.I still dream of it but there is nothing I can do now:(.They don't want you after you are a certain age and I could do so much for the church and with children etc. This makes me very sad. I know in other churches you don't have to be a virgin to be something, and I don't feel it is right. You just don't know none of you do.

In the Carmelite community here in my area, a very spiritually active veiled nun is a divorced mother of three grown children.

Don't understand your belief that women need to be virgins to enter a religious order.

Baby, there are so many ministries that are open to women in the Catholic Church, and there have been great women saints from all walks of life. There are even vocations for married men and women - the Holy Family Institute, a member of the Pauline family.

There are prayer warriors all over the world that operate out of their own homes and pray for the intentions of the Pope, the Church or whatever their group is aiming for. This can be done in an online group, or individually.

There are also Catholic Missionaries. I med a family that is working as a family (mother and father and a bunch of their own children) in Belize. They are building and operating a school and raising funds and other kinds of donations to provide all the tools the children there need to get an education.

There are so many ministries and other opportunities for any Catholic who wants to be involved. And right now you have already started. I read that you were praying the Rosary. Add an intention to it - such as for Pro-Life, or for the conversion of President Obama, or for the priests and bishops that they be Holy. And you have a good cause.

It is obvious that you haven't read Acts 2: 4.
Thats where the pentecostal Church began.

Odd, as many say your theology and denomination developed out of Methodistism. Your faith "alone" mantra is Lutheran.

Odd as well that for a sola scriptura denomination (which you say was physically present in 33 A.D.) that there's no record of your safeguarding Sacred Scripture from the time of Christ, no Pentecostal Church throughout history, nor is there a Pentecostal canon.

This is so true G4 where is the history or writings of any other church in history?? only the Jews have THE FIRST HALF OF THE BIBLE that they had before Jesus came and now some have the whole bible but they never started with it.As far as the Reformation ask Rome they are the ones that hate the Vatican because they are seperate form the state and that's why the Romans want to destroy the church still. You should get on my friends site Blackie and he wouold show you all the bcak up for the church and all the answers to your questions I was just there this morning. By the way every time I do a rosery I get what ever I ask for and protection to:) Someone yelled at me last night and mimicked me as I spoke to torment me and I told that person to be care ful cause the Lord watches over his and he would be sorry he was making fuin at me. 5 minutes lateer he came down with 101.5 temperture and stayed home today. It has happened before this and it is when someone picks on me for nothing or makes fun of me. I never wish harm on anyone it just happens that God drop's a brick on them. Back to church Fathers:)
