Its the Women's choice to decide what see can or can not do to her own body. Also Planned Parenthood does not encourage abortions contrary to what you may have heard. They try to offer other services first ie Goverment assistance, or adoption. The Women is given facts involved so she can make an informed decision, and abortions is touted as a last resort. Like I said before, you have provided little to no evidence supporting your assumptions. I gave you my sources, and I can provide more, all I ask is you do the same for your assertions. Peace

You think a woman wants to kill her own child?

Planned Parenthood, for money, persuades young women into the act of abortion.

An action which does not end any woman's problem.

When a person kills their child, an innocent life, it creates deep psychological wounds.

Every organization has it share of inept, or daresay malicious people. Unfortunately, there are corruption in every organization, should just assume that all Catholic priests are Peadophiles, or that every Muslim is a terrorist, or all police are brutal, and power hungy, no I do not, and do you want to know why, cause when you assume, you make an ass out you, and me. The assault victim deserves to sue, but a rogue employeee in a large organization is nothing new, and it happens in every organization.

This conversation is getting nowhere, I am trying to provide you evidence that PLanned Parenthood does more than just Abortions, in fact a heck of alot more, and I did provide the evidence. I will concede on point to you though, they do encourage abortions if the fetus will cause severe injury or death to the mother, but every hospital will do that so it is a moot point. Gimme evidence Planned Parenthood only provides abortions or is a major part of thier business, and unless thier business model changed in the last few weeks I do not think there will be any.

This is 2012, the era of modern medicine.

Doctors are able to perform life saving surgery on babies in the womb.

A fetus can be brought to a period of gestation in which it can be delivered safely should there ever be cause for "severe injury or death" to a mother.

Its your choice to oppose Planned Parenthood if you so choose, and I have the right to donate money to them if I so choose, thats what makes it a 'Free' Country. The second you take peoples choices away is the second you become no better than Soviet Russia, or any other dictatorship. Planned Parenthood does do more than just abortions, just as the Nazi regime did more than just exterminate people.

If a company does 90% good stuff, but 10% of its efforts went towards turning homeless people into dogfood for their pet division, would you still donate? Some would.

Your attempt to approach this from a scientific bent intimidates me to no end, "C.B." Assuming that you are telling the truth about your donation and not coming on here to be a nuisance, I will provide you with some facts, not from a religious or moral perspective. I'll give you the benefit of a doubt about your 2% figure (PPOA says 3%) but lets say 2%. That is the equivalent of 220,000 babies a year. 2 percent is still a lot of babies. You should also know that these figures are the number of abortions given with consent. If the number included those which were given with confidentiality it would be significantly higher. How much higher? We don't know. Planned Parenthood will not release that number. We do know this. A thousand dollars would pay for the termination of two human lives. I hope your contribution (if you really made one) went into their fake mammogram fund and was quickly pocketed by a PPOA staffer. That way the only harm done was lightening your wallet by a thousand smackers.
