The cause of sin is a Roman Catholic MYSTERY

Pope Benedict XVI told Irish Catholics on Sunday 18/06/12 it is a mystery why priests and other church officials abused children entrusted in their care. Catholic theology teaches that the pope as a bishop is able to interpret what God is saying. However in this case he more...

Many Catholic dogmas like the infallibility of the menace in the Vatican, and assumptions about Mary, her immaculate conception are nowhere found in the scriptures. But you have to give them credit for their vain imaginations!

All of them are based on the scriptures. Perhaps if you knew them better you might understand.

But since you are unwilling to profess Christ, then I doubt you would consider the Bible to be an authentic source for truth either.

But they refuse to accept Jesus as Lord, which is why I raised my own point prior to G4 chiming in.

There are lots of wonderful Christians in the world both inside and outside the Catholic Church. I have met many good non-Catholic Christians even on this forum who were able to discuss matters civilly and intelligently even when we disagreed.

But those who mock and accuse and offer nothing to the discussion, and are unable to even profess Christ as their saviour and yet won't be upfront about being an unbeliever, add nothing to the forum experience.

I would like to get back to some meatier discussions on the Bible and theology.

You cannot provide scriptures for these dogmas, so my charge of you being duplicitous stands uncontested.

Why should we discuss anything with you, when you call anyone in the office created by Christ the "menance in the Vatican"?

A "menance". Strong words. An opposite and equal reaction type of responce.

Interesting.

By chance, are you same sex attracted?

I accused you of being duplicitous and every post of your proves that you are more interested in the theology spouted by that menace or in defending that menace. Wouldn't the pope be a menace if he was leading you astray? Don't answer as the deceived cannot answer that.

Hum.

"Menance" now; three times in a sentence.

Radically expressed, anti-socially conveyed.

Menace means to pose a threat. The pope does pose a threat to your spiritual health, as you are suppose to follow Christ and be led by the Spirit. Instead you seek papal opinion and the twit's interpretation and think you found heaven, while struggling with your life. You know what sort of witness you really are, thinking that you can pretend to have it all together here.

Oh, you personally know bewell? Or are you just labeling bewell based on your general preconceived assumptions of Catholics (like a bigot)?

Who are you to judge the spiritual health of a stranger?

And come on. The twit? How enlightened!

A Roman Catholic cannot be health spiritually as the follow the papal twit, instead of Jesus. They are duplicitous saying they follow Jesus, but seek the pope's opinion instead.

The pope is created by the devil, Not Christ. STOP TELLING LIES.

Sorry. My apologies. Your egomaniacal narsissistic reaction to the office of the papacy (which Christ gave His Church) made me assume that you might be a flaming militant noncelibate homosexual.

I am not one of your Catholic priests!

I don't want to be sitting next to a person like you in church
watching a charlatan posing as a priest
telling some suckers that he is a little Christ on earth.
