Hello Faith and whosoever!let continue the study and truth of Roman 6 on this thread! Now can we continue in Roman 6?Ro:6:5: For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:Notice how this is a done more...
I may or may not believe coming forward is a necessary condition for salvation. But, if I clearly taught elsewhere that repentance/belief alone was sufficient no one would think coming forward is necessary for salvation,or water baptism is necessary for salvation.

Of course, no sinner will go to Heaven unless he or she repents of his or her sins.
That is not in question. But my prayer is asking for forgiveness and you keep condemning me for this.
The one who does not do this is the one who is in danger of Hell Fire.
We all fall short. We all sin, and by definition are sinners, but it is the ones who choose to remain in their sins that will have the problem.
I have never chosen to remain in my sins, so stop worrying abou t me.
Paul confessed to being a sinner, and showed that he put his trust in Christ and that this was something all sinners could do in good faith as Christ was good with His promises.
I do the same thing. The hypothetical Pentecostal woman did the same thing. Yet you have a problem?
Why are you not condemning the fornicators and adulterers? Those are the types of sins that the Bible says we should warn about.
Since when is obeying God as in? Whether or not we believe it is necessary for salvation, obedience to God is NEVER a sin. Only Satan would say otherwise.
What happens if a forget a sin or a couple of sins which was not repented? Like the sins of what they should have done?
Jas:4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.
one love
I explained that to you before, using the scriptures. If you choose to turn a deaf ear that is not my problem.
For someone who wants all Catholics to accept the Bible as their final authority, you sure try to complicate it.
The Scriptures are not that difficult. It is only when men don't like what the scriptures say that they try to come up with excuses as to why it must mean something different.

Are you saying Jas:4:17: Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. is not talking about a sin and that is uncleaness before God and men??

What? If you have trouble with English you might want to try using Google translate to help you.
I never said anythinbg like that.
Of course the sins of ommission are just as important as the sins of commission. But the remedies are the same.
I keep explaining them to you but you refuse to listen.

So it is a sin also in the same category of uncleaness according to James 4??
Also if you don't repent in time before death you can go to hell because of that non repentive sins??

If the sin is a sin that kills, then yes, absolutely a born again Christian will go to Hell. Paul made this absolutely 100%, irrefutibly clear.
But I see where your problem is. There is no point in continuing with Romans 6 until you prove your basic premise.
You read every single verse in the Bible in light of your man-made tradition. You accept or reject verses and even portions of sentences based on your tradition.
So before we can make any headway on any book of the Bible, we need to deal with your external doctrines.
Let us start with the basic premise of your old spirit being killed off and replaced by a brand new spirit that is sealed in an impenetrable sheild.
Using the same standards that you apply to me, I want you to help me see where you are getting this. I want to see three verses (minimum) that actually say that our old spirit dies and is replaced.
After that, I also want to see a minimum of three verses that explicitly and plainly say that our new spirit is sealed in a protective shield rather than the seal of ownership that was always believed for 2000 years.
In both cases, it needs to say it plainly, and three different verses. You have always dismissed purgatory and other Catholic doctrines because they were not plainly stated three times, so nothing less will count for this matter.
If you are unable to provide this, then perhaps you can agree to drop that premise for the purpose of this Bible Study until such time as evidence from within the text itself lends credence to one view or the other, rather than prejudging the text.

So...you don't have three verses in Sacred Scripture which prove that the word "seal" in antiquity meant an inpenetrable shield?
P.S. In Catholicism, we don't have that man-made doctrine in which a verse must be repeated three times in order that the Scripture be deemed inerrant - thus allowing all other singular verses free-game to be tinkered with.

Evangelist. They are your doctrines, you need to prove them, using the same criteria you demand from Catholics.
Please provide the scriptural evidence which plainly states your doctrines so that all may see them. With at least three separate verses or passages.
I would really like to continue this discussion, but it is important that we both play by the same rules.

Prove that your old spirit dies and is replaced by a totally new spirit - three verses, plainly written.

Then three more verses, plainly written, proving that your new spirit is sealed in an impenetrable sheild rather than the seal of ownership that it was ALWAYS accepted as for nearly 2000 years.

I am very serious about this. Your objections to Catholic doctrines are that they go against your doctrines and you refuse to accept any attempts to prove Catholic doctrines through the scriptures by appling the rules I have just imposed on you.
If you cannot support your own doctrines by the same rules you impose on me, then you must either drop any of your doctrines that do not pass, or admit that your "rules" for forming doctrines are not sound and must be dismissed.
