Hillary Clinton would make a 'great Secretary of State' if President-elect Barack Obama named her to the post, said former President Bill Clinton. Clinton made the comment Sunday in Kuwait where he was speaking at an international Symposium.
"If he [Obama] decided to ask her and they did it together, I think she'll be really great as a Secretary of State," said Clinton. "She worked very hard for his election after the primary fight with him, and so did I, and we were very glad that he won and we have a lot of confidence that he can do a good job."
Clinton added that Hillary didn't expect any job offer in the Obama administration.
Clinton, who was speaking at the 56th National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) International Symposium, also shared his insights on the world economy and other political factors affecting the region.
Speaking about the current financial crisis, Clinton said the problem is mostly psychological.

Clinton recommended that Barrack Obama should continue to pump liquidity in the markets until confidence comes back and pass a stimulus program that included three items:
-- Allow people to keep their homes, as 1.5 million homes were lost last year, and 2 million this year.
-- Help the Auto industry because if GM goes out of business, this would translate into a couple of million jobs lost through different channels.
-- Direct stimulus program through infrastructure investment.
Clinton warned companies that stopping big projects until the economy bounces back would be a mistake because he believes oil should ideally be between $80-$100, but that prices have been dragged lower as a result of the negative psychology affecting the markets.
Asked if he saw a unipolar, bipolar or a multipolar world, Clinton cited examples of history and said no single nation can carry on as the sole economic and political and military superpower in the world forever.
