Kara Beth Borden is 14, owns two weblogs and was the focus of a national amber alert after her parents were each shot in the head and died Sunday morning in Lititz, Pennsylvania.

Police believed she was kidnapped by her 18-year-old boyfriend. The 14-year-old girl is no longer in custody and has been reunited with her family and a legal guardian was appointed until Pennsylvania investigators know if she was a victim or participant.  David Ludwig waived extraidition from Indiana and is in cusody in Pennsylvania. He is being held without bail.

Her webpage is pink, and she talked online like most teens using acronyms and incomplete sentences, the shorthand of the net, throughout her postings.

"the stoners came over two nights ago! heh..that was fun! i got to talk to them both..awesome awesome..and today i went running with alita..that was nice! yep! my mother was kinda upset cause we didnt get back til 530 and i had soccer practice..ohh well..yeah soccer was ok i guess...it's almost over....one more game on sunday...then tourny..so yepp...ha otay i dont really have anything else to say. -- October 19, 2005

Kara was found Monday with 18-year-old David Ludwig, after a police chase in Indiana.

Kara's parents disapproved of her seeing 18-year-old David, and when she broke curfew Saturday night, her parents called him to their home to talk. David brought a handgun. He has three blogs, his last entry on his blog is November 7th, talking about his new laptop purchase, one week before eyewitnesses say he murdered his girlfriends' parents:

"The moral of the story...watch out, you never know when God will miraculously give you a sale...then blow your socks off with an even greater sale. Don’t ever settle for the good when you can get the best! God bless guys!"

MySpaces.com and Xanga.com are webblog platforms popular with teenagers. They are filled with the angst of adolescence: immediate, emotional and important, each seeking peer acceptance. There is little online to fortell of the deadly events.

Life in the Bordon household in Lititz, Pennsylvania was busy, and centered around church. A news report in a Pennsylvania newspaper says Kara was baptised in a backyard hot tub. She told her friends on her blog about it on October 4th:

"well well most of you didnt know that i did get baptized on sunday..yeah i never said anything bout it..oh wellz..hah..yeah so for you at LCC that got baptized this summer..look what i got baptized in..*wicked grin*

The night before she was baptised Kara went to David's blog at MySpace:

*YAY* heh you have to leave me a comment babe!! k? mk byeeeeeee lyl

David didn't post much on his three blogs. Police quickly pieced together the events of Saturday night and Sunday morning from the accounts of Kara's siblings.  When his name was released to the press as a suspect, his weblogs became filled with thousands comments from strangers.

dude david.. what where/are u thinking?! ok man i know u! why did u do that? -- goshorty05, November 13

Kara and David attended a Christian music concert together in October. He wrote on October 7th:

The concert last night was AMAZING!!  Pillar and Audio A rock my face off!

When police reported that David and Kara disappeared, they described Kara wearing a Pillar sweatshirt, a Christian rock band she idolized.

"HEY guys!!! hehe wow the concert was awesome..some of the bands.....kinda sucked like kids in the way..superchick w
