U.S. Army chaplain may be canonized

Father Emil Kapaun of Kansas volunteered to serve as a chaplain in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He saved hundreds of lives during the fierce winter of 1950-51 when hundreds of others died at the hands of Chinese captors.
