Yes, that's the popular myth. The facts, however, are less than flattering. She did not helkp anybody, she simply provided places where people could die. How wonderful. Anyone who dares can check the evidence.

It's an interesting phenomenon that "saintly" public figures are seldomly evaluated objectively by most people once they gain a certain amount of traction.
