Many of the books that were written by Fake Nuns are still popular among Fundamentalist Christians.

Veil of Fear: Nineteenth-Century Convent Tales (Paperback, 1999) by Nancy Lusignan Schultz. She explores anti-Catholic bigotry during this time period and what the political and religious goals the Fake Nuns were trying to achieve.
