The Belfry Sign Up is the initial outreach to potential contributors about starting a non-Catholic Christian blogsphere documentation project. The Belfry is a different type of directory. It's open to the entire community for editing instead of one person. Anyone may update or add an entry. Additionally, The Belfry is designed to document the history of the non-Catholic Christian Blogsphere. Please join in this endeavor and become a regular contributor by adding or editing links.
The hope is that the community will create a living directory and ongoing discussion about the weblogs that people care about. What comes out of this is hard to say. The philosophy of wikis say that what develops is what matters and only the users, you, can create that.
After you create a topic, select the "Christian Weblogs" template from the edit page. This will display a sample weblog entry for you to edit. This is the absolute minimum that needs to be included.
Type the details following the template and click save. If the topic didn't turn out the way you expected, click 'edit' again - you cannot click the backspace.
Always copy the text before you click save in case anything goes wrong. Additionally, if someone's editing while you're editing, the first person to save wins and you will lose your text when you save.
