Sorry for the light posting this past weekend, but after almost two (very long) months my family is back. It's been fun watching how the three-year old is running around trying to show everybody that she can speak English. The baby is having a hard time with jet lag, and my wife is quite tired still after around 24 hours in airports and planes.

Given that I didn't look too much at this site over the weekend, I missed thanking the team at the Heart, Mind and Strength Weblog for the plug, and the ongoing "internal forum" items from Gregory Popcak, where he says this "option" was rejected by the Vatican at least a decade ago. Also, check out this comment on the HMS blog from Pete Vere on the subject of "internal forum."

In this instance, the Church recognizes an internal forum solution. There are two broad definitions of this, the first recognized by the Church and the second condemned by the Church but practiced by a number of liberal or poorly informed priests.
