This week, while President Obama was touring Asia, the Inspector General of the Department of State found that Hillary Clinton did indeed violate security regulations during her tenure as America’s lead diplomat by using her own unsecured email server. As new details about Clinton’s apparent violation of State’s rules, a reporter at a press conference in Japan asked the president about the scandal today.
In response, Obama brusquely shut down the reporter even after saying he would take another question. “You know I take it back — I’m not taking another question,” the president said. “We’re in Japan, don’t you have something to do with Asia that we want to talk about? I’ll be talking about this in Washington the whole time.”
Obama continued, saying “I’ve already said a lot on those issues — I think these are better directed to the campaign.”
