The Socialist leanings of Sen. Bernie Sanders, the Vermont independent who still trails Hillary Clinton for the Democratic Party's presidential nomination, was on display in a recent FOX Business Network segement.

A video has emerged of Sanders praising both food rationing and bread lines, both of which were commonplace in the Soviet Union and other countries behind the Iron Curtain. While Sanders has long sought to distinguish his views from those imposed by totalitarian regimes, video evidence shows that he showed himself to be favorable to the Sandinista Communist regime of Nicaragua and the Cuban government under Fidel Castro in the 1980s.

In the newly rediscovered video, Sanders can be seen praising food lines while asserting that in countries whose citizens don't queue up for food, the poor are starving to death because “the rich get all the food.”
