On Fox News, Judge Jeanine Pirro criticized the cast of the hit Broadway show, "Hamilton," for what she said were their "inappropriate and disgusting" comments directed at Vice President-elect Mike Pence at a performance on the evening of November 18. Pence was with members of his family when members of the audience booed and jeered him as their entered the theatre. The performance was interrupted several times by the sound of the jeering, which the cast and crew did nothing to stop. Pirro said the display was the display "outrageous and embarrassing."
"What happened in that theater - one block from here - was out and out reverse racism, and tee'd up hate for a man who has done nothing to deserve this inappropriate and disgusting behavior," Pirro said on her program last night. The theater, said Pirro, became a “political bully pulpit" on an evening when Pence was seeking a quiet night with his family. "Last night violates everything you say you stand for. That big tent, inclusive broad-minded acceptance of everyone, even people who don't look or act like you. What happened to your old 'love trumps hate' line? You're all damn hypocrites!" she said.
Pirro noted that both Hillary Clinton and Sen. Bernie Sanders have attended “Hamilton” in the past without issue.
Pirro credited Donald Trump’s electoral victory to "forgotten Americans, most of whom can't afford tickets to your play, and may not have even heard of it, got up and voted" against the Democrats.
