Pornographic actress and stripper Stephanie Gregory Clifford a.k.a. “Stormy Daniels” released on Tuesday a sketch of a man she claims threatened her in 2011. Daniels has claimed that she had an affair with President Donald Trump more than 10 years ago and was paid hush-money. She released the sketch on ABC’s "The View."
During an interview that aired in March, Daniels claims that she was threatened after she agreed to discuss her alleged affair with the future president. "I was in a parking lot, going to a fitness class with my infant daughter. Taking, you know, the seats facing backwards in the backseat, diaper bag, you know, getting all the stuff out. And a guy walked up on me and said to me, 'Leave Trump alone. Forget the story,' " Daniels told Anderson Cooper on CBS's "60 Minutes."
She added, “And then he leaned around and looked at my daughter and said, 'That’s a beautiful little girl. It'd be a shame if something happened to her mom.' And then he was gone."
That incident occurred after Daniels had agreed to an interview with a sister publication of In Touch magazine. Cooper asked during his interview, "You took it as a direct threat?" Daniels answered, "Absolutely. I was rattled. I remember going into the workout class and my hands are shaking so much, I was afraid I was going to drop her." She said that she did not see the man again, but claimed she would recognize him if ever she did.
The forensic sketch that Daniels released, which supposedly shows the man who allegedly threatened her, has drawn comparisons to Daniels’ husband, Glendon Crain, a.k.a. Brendon Miller. They have been married since 2010. Lois Gibson, the artist who is credited with the sketch, is known as the Guinness World Records holder for most successful forensic artist. She teaches forensic art at the Institute of Forensic Art in Houston, Texas.
On The View, Daniels claimed that she had delayed to find the man she alleges once threatened her because she was frightened and had not told her husband, Crain. Daniels has filed suit to dissolve a nondisclosure agreement that she and Trump's embattled personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, signed just before the 2016 presidential election. She claims that the agreement is not valid because Trump himself never signed it.
In March, Daniels amended her lawsuit and accused Cohen of defamation, claiming that he suggested that she has lied about the alleged affair with Trump. She alleges the deal is not valid because Trump never signed it himself. Last month, Daniels accused Cohen of defamation and amended her lawsuit against Trump. The lawsuit claims Cohen defamed Daniels by suggesting she is lying about her alleged affair with Trump more than a decade ago.
Cohen is facing an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller, whose team ordered a raid on Cohen's office and residence, where they seized documents and computers. The incident has drawn criticism from several quarters, including President Trump and famed constitutional expert Alan Dershowitz.
