Actor and economist Ben Stein, who once served in the Nixon administration, added his voice to those who question whether Democrat Hillary Clinton is healthy enough to serve as president.
On Jimmy Kimmel’s nightly show, Clinton herself laughed at suggestions that her health is impaired and opened a jar of pickles herself to prove it. In addition, a physician has stated that Clinton’s health is fine.
However, Stein told show Newsmax host Steve Malzberg that Clinton appears to show symptoms resembling Lupus: which is a disease for which his own mother received treatment before her death.
“I don’t think she looks well. When you see pictures of her face I hate to say this my poor dear mother had Lupus and she was taking powerful hydrocortisone and Mrs. Clinton looks to me like she’s taking hydrocortisone.”
While he admitted that he is not a physician, Stein called on Clinton to release her complete medical records inasmuch as she has demanded the release of Donald Trump’s tax returns.
Both Trump himself, and supporter Rudy Giuliani, have suggested that Clinton is apparently ill. Some observers have opined that Clinton appears to show signs of hyperthyroidism (for which she is receiving treatment) or Parkinson's disease: a neurological disorder that can cause tremors and tics.
