Author and controversialist Ann Coulter mocked President Trump, who she ardently praised during the election year. Coulter took shots at Trump on Tuesday for the delay in building the border wall that he promised during the campaign.
"Today's BORDER WALL CONSTRUCTION UPDATE: Miles completed yesterday – Zero; Miles completed since Inauguration – Zero. NEXT UPDATE TOMORROW," Coulter tweeted.
Coulter then tweeted that Trump's dismissal of FBI Director James Comey was an effort to "distract" Americans’ attention from the lack of progress on the border barrier. "Comey firing is a red herring to distract from the fact that Trump hasn't started building the wall," she tweeted.
Coulter has said that she is "a little annoyed" that building the wall has not been implemented by the congressional Republican leadership, noting that funding for the project was cut during recent negotiations over a budget bill that prevented a government shutdown.
