Most voters share President Trump's belief that tougher vetting is needed for those who enter this country following Tuesday's terror attack in New York City. According to a Rasmussen poll released on Friday, 57 percent of likely American voters beleive it is too easy for potential terrorists to enter the United States.

The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone and online survey showed that a minority, 31 percent, disagree, while 12 percent remain are not sure. 

The survey of 1,000 likely voters was conducted on November 1-2, 2017 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence
